The Echoes: The steampunk dawn
Ezoiar wakes up in a very familiar room, not knowing he has woken up in an entirely different universe.
He was curious why most of his stuff looks very different, but doesn't mind it as he shrugs off as him still waking up.
He was then confused why his most of his clothes looks... very professional and decided just to use the one that he usually uses to go out to an adventure.
As soon he left his home, he sees a different world. He now lives in London but it is not the same London he has seen before back in 2023. It is all, steampunk?

He explores the city, wondering what time, day, month, year, and even wondering if he could return to his real home. He then bumps into someone by accident, which appears to be himself.
"Hark, tak' heed o' thy path, I bid thee! But, lo, wherefore dost thou behold me, and find in me thine own semblance?"
Ezoiar then said "Uhm yeah, and could you be more clear?"
He then figures that he is an universial anomaly and switches to what is called "Millennial English" and then said
"Very well, young lad! My moniker is Xander. But it can get a tad knotty if we happen to be two Xanders, so I shall refer to your esteemed self as Alexander."
(British Ezoiar will be referred as B.Ezoiar and Original Ezoiar will continue to be referred as Ezoiar.)
"Jolly good, lad! Do tag along with me to a place where the hustle and bustle is a trifle less taxing. It's in close proximity to my humble abode, assuming you're familiar with the area yourself."
B.Ezoiar brought Ezoiar back to his home, well their home.
With the advanced technology, B.Ezoiar analysed how Ezoiar's world is and how he thinks.
"I say, young lad, does the British Empire exist in your world?"
Ezoiar said "Used to, it got a lot smaller. Thus the empire does no longer exist."
B.Ezoiar was a bit shocked but shrugged it off as he is very well aware that Ezoiar and him are obviously different in several ways.
B.Ezoiar then showed the map of the British Empire.

They then talked for hours how their worlds are.
Like B.Ezoiar telling Ezoiar about how the people of the Thirteen Colonies failed revolution and Ezoiar telling Ezoiar telling B.Ezoiar about how the Thirteen Colonies won the revolution and became the United States, competing with Russia and also made it to space exploration.
B.Ezoiar then notices Ezoiar's belongings in their home and asked:
"Are these your belongings, perchance?"
Ezoiar said "Yes."
"Well, these seem rather out of place, don't they? Might this be a case of universal displacement that you happen to be experiencing?"
B.Ezoiar digs into the belongings of Ezoiar, while Ezoiar does not mind.
B.Ezoiar finds a book of 1984 written by George Orwell, and then said:
"George Orwell? Ah, our former Prime Minister who succeeded Churchill."
Ezoiar said: "Former Prime Minister? Ah nevermind. Can you do anything to get me home?"
B.Ezoiar: "I must admit, I'm not entirely certain, but I have heard whispers of a multi-universal organization dedicated to reuniting displaced individuals with their respective universes. It might be prudent for you to report this predicament to them and ascertain whether they can facilitate your return home."
B.Ezoiar then did as much as he can while Ezoiar is writing a book about his universe for the whole British Empire and the world of Earth-8500.
As days passes, Ezoiar writes more, and Ezoiar and B.Ezoiar discussing to each other.
At Day 24, Ezoiar finally gets to go home and B.Ezoiar hands him a inter-universial phone made in Earth-8500 with him added to the contacts list already.
However there is a looming feeling that they will forcibly be met again in a horrifying event.
